WeatherThe weather conditions for this battle were rather nice. For the most part, it wasn't to cold, but not to hot, around 70 degrees. However there were a lot of storm clouds, and thunder couldn't be determined because of cannon fire. It did start to rain, but it was already the very end of the battle when the south would have to retreat. It was almost perfect conditions for battle.

TerrainThe terrain was ideal for the North. It consisted of many small hills, perfect for an elevation advantage. This was a big part in the Norths victory and played large role in the strategy of the North. Little round top is a very famous hill the assured the Norths victory because no matter how hard the south tried to take control of the hill, the north kept control of the small hill.
